Installing the widget using Google Tag Manager

Adding Freddy to your website using Google Tag Manager is quick and easy.

Please note that the instructions below are for the side sticky and bottom sticky widget. If you want to install an inline widget please send us an email and we'll help you get set up.

Create a survey and copy the code snippet

Create a survey first. Each survey has a code snippet that we need for the next step. No worries if you're not a developer, there is no coding required.

After creating a survey, go to the installation tab where you'll find the code snippet. You can easily copy it by pressing the button 'Copy code' next to it.

Add the code snippet in Google Tag Manager

Click Tags in the sidebar and then New Custom Fields settings

Click on Tag Configuration Custom Fields settings

In the list that you see now, scroll down and select Custom HTML Custom Fields settings

Paste the code snippet into the HTML field Custom Fields settings

Click on the Trigger card at the bottom and in the next screen select Page view Custom Fields settings

That's it! Your configuration should look like the screen below. It's a good idea to give your tag a name, you can do that on the top lef. Custom Fields settings
